The Black Ink Project Has Begun

Jeremy Palmer of “Quit Your Day Job” has launched a free training course called “The Black Ink Project” for beginning affiliate marketers. It’s a 4-week program consisting a 5 Webinars M-F each week with a week off between modules. The first module began this week and if the first 2 Webinars are any indication, this is going to be the definitive resource for anyone thinking about getting started with affiliate marketing.

I’ve gushed about Jeremy before when I reviewed PPC Classroom and my regard for him is about as high as it can get for anyone. What Jeremy is doing with the BIP is astonishing. He is providing all this training at no charge to his students and his motivation for doing so is purely to give back to the IM community at large.

Even though this training is aimed toward new affiliate marketers, I jumped at the opportunity to take part because first I think I need a refresher course in AM as well as a nudge to get refocused on what worked for me initially and I noticed that Jeremy will be covering some topics that I can really use some help with. Case in point, was yesterday’s Webinar on “Getting You Business In Order“. In this session Jeremy and his business partner, Jon Shaw, went over the various business entities appropriate for affiliate marketers as well as some essential bookkeeping and tax stuff.

Needless, to say I learned a ton from that Webinar. Of course, I also have a ton of new questions, but at least I’m much more informed on this vital subject.

I believe registration is still open and all Webinars are being recorded so you can download them after the fact. I’ve been telling everyone I know who has expressed any kind of interest in getting started online to get off their butts and get onboard with “The Black Ink Project“!
