BlogRush Flavors – Sick of Licorice

As you’re probably aware by now, John Reese and his team are in the process of making some major changes to the BlogRush system. The announced changes all sound pretty good to me, though I have heard of some people getting their blogs removed from the program who thought the process was unfair. John did post over at the Warrior Forum stating this may have been the case and he’s asked those who feel they weren’t given a fair trial to contact him.

This level of involvement on John’s part shows me that he’s really committed to making BlogRush into the success he originally envisioned it to be. I’m really pulling for him and BlogRush.

But on to something a lot more fun.

I recalled that there was a way to change the color scheme of your BlogRush widget in the admin panel.  Turns out there are 13 delicious flavors to choose from. The cool thing is that you can test them out just by changing your widget’s flavor right in the control panel. You don’t need to copy and paste the JavaScript code again like you currently need to do for Adsense (though apparently Google is in the process of doing the same with Adsense).

Just refresh a page on your blog and voila!, you can seen how the new flavor looks on your blog. I decided on the liquidy cool “Aqua” for the widget here on IMMania.com.

I’m kinda surprised that so many people are just leaving the default “licorice” on their widgets, but maybe they’ve just forgotten about BlogRush for the moment.
