Rejoice! A Responsive Affiliate Manager.

In a previous post I went off on a semi-rank about the frustrations I was having building a relationship with the affiliate manager(s) at one of my most profitable merchants. They seemed to have a revolving door leading in (and out) of their affiliate manager’s office. I recently emailed a VP there who has been very cooperative in the past and was able to get some useful updates directly from him.

He also told me that the previous affiliate manager was no longer the affiliate manager. Big shocker.

Manchester United Boxer Shorts Earn Me 0.86 eBay Commission

A while back, I posted about the low EPC I was experiencing from the eBay affiliate program. Since then, I’ve put up some more “Mini Money Sites” (MMS) based around the eBay affiliate program. The upshot is that I’m still seeing sales trickle in for nickel and dime crap like the winning bid for a pair of Manchester United boxer shorts.

At least they weren’t used.

And this was a sale from a site that lists items at auction for 5 figures. So just what the heck is going on here?

BlogRush Flavors – Sick of Licorice

As you’re probably aware by now, John Reese and his team are in the process of making some major changes to the BlogRush system. The announced changes all sound pretty good to me, though I have heard of some people getting their blogs removed from the program who thought the process was unfair. John did post over at the Warrior Forum stating this may have been the case and he’s asked those who feel they weren’t given a fair trial to contact him.

This level of involvement on John’s part shows me that he’s really committed to making BlogRush into the success he originally envisioned it to be. I’m really pulling for him and BlogRush.

Quick & Easy Web Graphics – Cheap

When a recent visitor to this blog inquired how to contact me via email, it was a wake up call to provide some means to provide this most basic means of communication. Actually, it’s been something I’ve wanted to address for a while now, but to be honest, the only thing I could think of is to search out a WordPress plugin or widget that might provide a contact form.

Needless to say, that search hasn’t progressed very far at all.

Recovering From The Google Slap

In my post from yesterday about the latest Slap from Google (some are referring to it as a “Mini Slap“) I described a few ways to possibly get your Adwords Quality Score up and mentioned that it really comes down to providing a “quality user experience” to visitors to your site.

I’d like to expand on that a little and share what this added value might possibly consist of.
