Anyone who has done any advertising with Google Adwords has probably, at some point, experienced the frustration at seeing most of your keywords slapped with minimum bids of $10. This can happen right off the bat when setting up a new campaign or can happen after a campaign has been running for quite some time.
This little phenomenon has been become known as the “Google Slap“.
No one seems to be immune from the Slap. Both Adwords newbies as well as the most experienced of marketers have felt its sting.

In my brief time doing business online, which is now just a bit over 2 years, I’ve had a grand total of 2 different Web hosting companies. The first business web host I decided on after reading numerous forum posts about the merits and faults of various hosting companies. And let me tell you, if you’ve ever gone down this path there are more Web hosts and differing opinions on them than you can shake a stick at!

As I was going through my server logs for this blog I’ve been noticing that it’s starting to rank rather well for some long-tail keywords. I was very pleased to see that it’s currently ranked number one in Google for the search phrase:
Micro Niche Finder Review
Here’s a screen shot of the Google SERPS.
That’s out of 252,000 total results. It’s now a little over a week since I first posted my review of Micro Niche Finder. I’m not sure when it exactly hit the number one position. Could have been within only a few days of publishing the post.
