It may be harsh to refer to some IMers as “lemmings“, but I think as a group, and I’m really no exception, that we are extremely prone to lemming-like behavior. Now I’ve never actually seen a lemming and probably couldn’t pick one out of a line up, but the mental image is pretty compelling:
Allegedly, the entire lemming herd will stampede, following the lemmings at the front of pack even sometimes right off the edge of cliff into the ocean. And that is what consists of my entire knowledge of lemmings, most of which was entirely gleaned from Saturday morning cartoons.

You’ve probably seen the emails and sales pages promoting info products that promise to show you how to make a killing promoting ClickBank products as an affiliate. They make it look like this is the easiest money you’ll ever earn. I’ve been seduced into purchasing just about every product on the subject of selling CB products.
I guess I’m a sucker for those “proof of earnings” screenshots.
All I need to see is all those really long green and purple bars from the author’s ClickBank reports summary shooting off the screen. That’s really all it takes for me to start reaching for my credit card. But like Charlie Brown, I usually get the football yanked away by Lucy right when I’m ready to boot it through the goal posts.

Well, I signed up for a BlogRush account and have the widget installed over there on the sidebar of this blog. I put it at the bottom so it’s probably not getting as much visibility, but I didn’t want it front and center. I can’t have it preempting my stuff over there.
The sign up process is very quick and painless. The topic categories are somewhat limited, but are broad enough I think to cover most blogging subjects. I didn’t see one for “Internet Marketing“, so I selected “Marketing“. Turns out this category works fine and I’m seeing highly relevant blogs from the IM space. When Alice Seba’s blog popped up in the list, I knew things were on track.

I put together a short report on a very effective technique that I use to boost my Adsense revenues a few months ago. I first offered it at an introductory price to members of the Earn1kaDay.com membership site. It’s now in wide release to the IM public at large.
I pretty much gave it away at Earn1kaDay.com and it’s still a steal at the current price of $9.95.

John Reese has just announced a new service that he’s calling “BlogRush” over on his income.com blog. He describes it as a “blog syndication service”. John says it’s based on RSS and some of their own technology. He says that they’re even going to apply for a couple of patents. In a nutshell, it’s a form of traffic trading for blogs.
